TPS (Temporary Protected Status)
Protection and work authorization for nationals of designated countries β with permanent-status planning built in.
Overview
TPS protects nationals of countries designated by DHS due to armed conflict, environmental disaster, or extraordinary conditions. It provides protection from removal, employment authorization, and possible travel authorization β but is not itself a green card path. We register clients, fix late-filing problems, and build the bridge to something permanent.
Who May Qualify
- Nationality of a TPS-designated country
- Continuous residence and physical presence since required dates
- Timely registration or a late-filing exception
How We Help
- Initial registrations, re-registrations, and late-filing motions
- TPS travel authorization and lawful-entry strategy
- Permanent-status planning layered over TPS protection
